At Serafinian Learning Center, we believe that learning extends far beyond the four walls of a classroom. That’s why our nursery to kindergarten students recently embarked on an unforgettable field trip to Gardenia Bread City, Dessert Museum, and Star City—three iconic destinations that blended fun, discovery, and values-driven lessons. Guided by our mission to nurture “Christian and Marian ideals, Filipino identity, and joyful learning,” this adventure left our little explorers buzzing with excitement and new insights. Let’s relive their journey!
A Day of Discovery: Our Field Trip Itinerary
Gardenia Bread City: Baking Gratitude & Joy

Our first stop was Gardenia Bread City, where our students stepped into the magical world of bread-making! They toured the facility, wide-eyed as they watched machines mix dough, bake golden loaves, and package fresh bread.
Dessert Museum: A Sweet Feast for the Senses

Next, we dove into a world of whimsy at the Dessert Museum! Our little ones gasped at rooms filled with giant cupcakes, cotton candy clouds, and walls dripping with “sprinkles.” They engaged in sensory play, identifying colors, textures, and shapes while “tasting” imaginary treats (sugar-free, of course!). Teachers linked the vibrant exhibits to creativity and God’s gift of imagination, while playful discussions about sharing mirrored the Eucharist’s message of communal love.
Star City: Courage, Laughter & Filipino Fun
The final stop was Star City, where thrills and teamwork took center stage! Students cheered as they rode the carousel, chugged along on a mini train, and played carnival games like ring toss.
Connecting the Dots: Faith, Culture & Growth
This field trip wasn’t just about play—it was a living lesson in Serafinian’s mission. From baking bread (a symbol of Christ’s sacrifice) to sharing stories of kindness, faith was woven into every activity. Supporting local brands like Gardenia and embracing Star City’s Pinoy charm nurtured pride in their heritage. Through sensory exploration, physical play, and social bonding, students grew in mind, body, and spirit, embodying our vision of holistic development.
Memories to Cherish
From flour-dusted hands at Gardenia to rainbow-hued giggles at the Dessert Museum and the triumphant high-fives at Star City, this field trip was a tapestry of joy and learning. At Serafinian, we’re committed to creating experiences where faith, culture, and discovery collide—preparing young hearts to serve God and their kapwa (community) with love.
